AHB was selected as one of the top 50 innovative enterprises in China in 2022 by Forbes

On August 12, Forbes China released the “2022 China’s Top 50 Innovative Enterprises”, and AHB was on the list for its breakthrough innovation and continuous leadership in the field of synthetic biology.

The Forbes China Top 50 Innovative Enterprises list starts from the basic dimensions of business model, R&D investment, and self-growth, and analyzes the development status, competition, and industry trends in different fields to evaluate the innovation strength of enterprises. AHB was included in the list for replacing non-renewable petrochemical resources with renewable biological resources and developing green high-tech that got rid of traditional chemical raw materials.

What is different from previous years is that this year, the emerging track of synthetic biology was added to the list, and AHB became candidates in this field.

AHB has established a research and development chain of “industrial strains—fermentation and extraction—product application”, and has formed a complete technological lead in the creation of industrial strains, intelligent control of the fermentation process, efficient post-extraction, and product application development. And applied the fermentation production process with microbial cell factory as the core and the enzymatic production process with enzyme catalysis as the core, which replaced the heavy pollution production mode of the traditional chemical synthesis process, and realized the technological change of using biotechnology to produce fine compounds. And continue to promote the upgrading and iteration of biomanufacturing technology.
